Grate coconuts and extract thick milk.
In a thick bottom pan add 2 tbsp of ghee, fry cashew and raisins. Then add 1 cup semolina/suji and start roasting it on a medium flame till the suji become grainy. Add 1.5 cup boiled water first and cook, then add 1.5 cup of coconut milk.
Once it started to getting cooked, add 1.5 cup of sugar to it and start cooking.
Once Rawa is fully cooked and got into the desired consistency, add grated coconut and cardamom powder.
Turn off the heat, cover and rest for 5 minutes. Then serve hot.
